Attention Property Owners,

Council passed By-Law #28-20 on March 20, 2020 to extend the Interim Tax Bill due date from March 27, 2020 to April 27, 2020, also to waive any penalty & interest to be applied on April 1st, 2020.

Due to the timing and to avoid financial hardship for those affected by COVID-19 the Township will not cash postdated cheques (dated prior to March 31st) until April 27th and/or process the preauthorized withdrawal until April 27th.  If your taxes are paid through your mortgage you would need to contact your financial institution, for any deferrals.  Postdated cheques dated April 1st or later will be cashed on the date indicated on the cheque(unless other arrangements are made).

If you wish to have your payment processed before the April 27th date please call the Township Office at 613-479-2231 or email deputytreasurer@northfrontenac.ca[1].
